Current Job Openings:

  • The K-5 Assistant Director is a full-time, 40hr/week position that will assist the K-5 Director in planning, directing and evaluating afterschool & summer activities for elementary school-aged children in the Burlington community including, but not limited to - academic, recreation, enrichment, and field trip opportunities. This position will also support the supervision of staff and directly support in program, as needed.

  • Lead Teachers are part of a collaborative team supporting children in the social/emotional and academic learning process while providing an environment of mutual respect. >>> LEARN MORE HERE

  • Responsible for teaching children ranging in age from 18 months – 5 years to enjoy the learning process and to be caring toward others while providing an environment in which young children can develop in an atmosphere of mutual respect. Responsible for supporting a curriculum that corresponds to student needs. This position will be filling in for a few months while one of our teachers is on maternity leave. >>>LEARN MORE HERE

  • The Teen Coordinator will support the coordination of after-school and summertime learning, recreational and life skills building activities designed for kids aged 11-18 in order to empower youth to explore their talents and find their voice. This person will also lead the KSC Lemonade Stand / Job Club Program during the Spring and Summer. >>> LEARN MORE HERE

  • King Street Center’s Programs seek individuals with childcare experience to join our substitute teacher list to provide support in the classroom and engage with children during our operating hours of 8am-6pm. We have subbing opportunities in our Early Education (18 months – 5 years), Afterschool (K-5th grade) and Teen (middle & high school) Programs. Substitutes may choose to work in one or several programs, depending on experience and interest. >>> Learn More Here
