  • The High School Program Coordinator is responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of King Street Center’s Academic & Career Exploration (ACE) Program, which provides high school students with equitable opportunities to discover their passions, gain hands-on experience, and build a foundation for a successful future. This role ensures that all programming aligns with best practices for high school youth engagement, emphasizing career exploration, employability skills, mentorship, and flexibility to accommodate students’ varied responsibilities and interests. The Coordinator will foster a safe, supportive, and empowering environment where students can navigate academics, develop professional skills, and explore career and post-secondary education pathways.

  • King Street Center is seeking a Full-Time K-5 Classroom Lead who will be responsible for the management of an afterschool classroom of up to twenty kindergarten and 1st grade youth. This position will start in August 2025 or as soon as possible upon hire. The Classroom Lead supports the K-5 Program Director in developing an engaging curriculum, and then implements it daily with K-5 Program Staff. The expected work schedule is Monday to Friday 12:00pm to 6:00pm for 30 hours per week during the school year. Additional hours may be required for summer programming or school vacation weeks.

  • King Street Center is seeking Part-Time K-5 Program Staff to support the supervision of an afterschool classroom for either grades Kindergarten to 1st grade, 2nd grade to 3rd grade or 4th grade to 5th grade.  This position will start in August 2025. The Program Staff is responsible for implementing engaging activities and curriculum and fostering a developmentally appropriate classroom culture as directed by the K-5 Program Directors.  The expected work schedule is Monday to Friday 2:00pm-6:00pm for 20 hours per week during the school year. Additional hours may be assigned for summer programming or school vacation weeks.

  • King Street Center is seeking part-time Middle School Program Staff to support our afterschool program for 6th-8th grade youth. Staff are responsible for facilitating a safe, supportive and nurturing out-of-school space, so that youth may gain self-awareness, become empowered to make safe choices, and grow as individuals in the community.  Program staff must be empathetic, self-motivated and eager to be a part of a collaborative team that is committed to the health and wellbeing of all youth and families. They should also demonstrate a commitment to principles of justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion. This is a part-time position, and staff are expected to commit to a regular weekly schedule.  Available shifts are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 2:00pm-6:00pm and Wednesday 1:00pm - 6:00pm during the school year after school program. Additional hours may be available for summer programming or school vacation weeks.

  • The Middle School Program Coordinator is responsible for developing and leading engaging after-school and summertime programs that foster personal growth, academic achievement, and life skills development for youth in grades 6-8. This role plays a crucial part in empowering middle schoolers to explore their talents, build confidence, and develop essential life skills. Additionally, the Coordinator helps to lead the Job Club Program, including supporting the operations of the Lemonade Stand, a workforce development initiative that teaches business and job skills.
