The K-5 Program Director is a full-time, 40hr/week position that is responsible for King Street Center’s largest program, with up to 59 youth in the program on any given day. The Director oversees the administration and oversight required of a state licensed 5 STAR afterschool program. In addition, they are responsible for planning daily activities and curriculum, managing and coaching between 12-16 staff, providing behavior support in the classroom, and communicating with families.

The Teen Coordinator will support the coordination of after-school and summertime learning, recreational and life skills building activities designed for kids aged 11-18 in order to empower youth to explore their talents and find their voice. This position will also lead the Job Club Program, including the Lemonade Stand, during the Spring and Summer. The Coordinator must be empathetic, self-motivated and eager to be a part of a collaborative team that is committed to the health and wellbeing of all youth and families. They should also demonstrate a commitment to principles of justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion. This is a full time 35 hours/week position.

The Administrative & Program Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the smooth functioning of various programs and administrative tasks within the organization. This position demands a highly organized individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.

K-5 Program Staff supervise an after school classroom, implement engaging activities and foster an environment where children feel safe, happy and valued. Our program serves K-5th graders during afternoons, half days and school vacation weeks. Staff create meaningful relationships with children, and teach them new skills, while having fun at the same time. Program staff must be empathetic, self-motivated and eager to be a part of a collaborative team that is committed to the health and wellbeing of all children and families. They should also demonstrate a commitment to principles of justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion. This is a part-time position, and staff are expected to commit to regularly work between three to five days a week during the semester.

Teen Program Staff provide youth with a safe, nurturing space and support so that they may gain self-awareness, become empowered to make safe choices, and grow as individuals in the community. Program staff must be empathetic, self-motivated and eager to be a part of a collaborative team that is committed to the health and wellbeing of all youth and families. They should also demonstrate a commitment to principles of justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion. This is a part-time position, and staff are expected to commit to regularly work between two to three days a week at minimum.
