Donor-Advised Funds

We are happy to accept donations from Donor-Advised Funds (DAF)! We have experience with a variety of DAFs and would love to answer any questions you may have. Please reach out to our Development Director, Kelli, by email or phone.

Donate Stock

When you give appreciated securities you do not pay capital gains tax on the appreciation and you receive a tax deduction for the full value of the gift. These instructions contain all the information your broker will need to complete the transfer. Please be sure to include donor name in transfer instructions!

Donating Items: Wish List!

If you are looking to donate physical items, please email Kate to discuss logistics before making your donation. While we understand the value of used items, we ask that you consider purchasing new items, or if items are lightly used that they be in excellent condition.

Corporate Event Sponsorships

Each (non-pandemic) year, King Street Center traditionally hosts an annual Golf Tournament and Backyard Classic evening party. As a corporate sponsor, your business will receive customized benefits designed to complement your strategic marketing objectives and appropriate to your philanthropic priorities. Examples of benefits associated with sponsorship of our events might include:

  • For your $5,000 sponsorship, King Street Center will provide:
    *2 foursomes in September Golf Tournament, Burlington Country Club
    *Logo placement and “experience” with King Street Lemonade
    *Highlight in Spring newsletter, mailed to 3,500+ addresses
    *Banner, 2 tee signs at Golf Tournament and logo on all marketing

  • For your $2,500 sponsorship, King Street Center will provide:
    *1 foursome in Golf Tournament, Burlington Country Club
    *Logo placement on King Street Lemonade Stand
    *Listed in Spring newsletter, mailed to 3,500+ addresses
    *Tee sign at Golf Tournament and logo on all marketing

Corporate/Foundation Grants

Grants to support specific programs, from Early Education up through the Teen Program, are essential to the health of King Street Center. We welcome the opportunity to apply for these opportunities and report on outcomes.

Planned Giving

Some donors choose to make gifts to King Street Center from assets that remain after their death. This can be done via a will, life insurance policy, pension plan, living trust or a charitable remainder trust that provides assets to King Street Center, while maintaining full use and benefit of those assets during one’s lifetime.
